Inspired by the granite I found on the beaches of this secluded island when I was a child, the Matinicus earrings are made of larvikite, which is also called Black Moonstone and Blue Granite. Larvikite is recognizable by the presence of crystals of feldspar which give the stone a gorgeous luster!
